The Spear & Jackson Kew Gardens Stainless Steel Edging Knife is ideal for creating neat edges to your lawn and borders. The treaded stirrup pattern head transfers the user’s force directly onto the blade making it easy to push the head into the ground. Then simply rock the tool side to side to cut through the soil and turf to create a clean and neat edge. The mirror polished stainless steel head provides protection from rust and ensures minimal soil adhesion, while the FSC approved shaft is topped with an extra wide T shaped handle for extra grip and leverage. The shaft and handle are weatherproofed for protection against the elements, prolonging the life of the tool. This item carries a 10 year guarantee. The Kew range of tools has been developed in conjunction with Kew’s horticultural team, resulting in an officially licensed range of tools which are both used and recommended by Kew. Spear & Jackson’s foundations were laid in 1760, since our beginnings centuries of experience and innovation have resulted in the materials and development expertise that resides within the company today; and "continuous innovation" is at the heart of the company's ethos. This drive to improve product materials and performance can be seen in many different ways across the company's 3,000 lines.
