Shimano Shimano Tribal Carp Stalker 9 Foot

Shimano¿s Tribal Stalker 9ft rod has been especially designed for anglers whose chosen tactic is to stalk their quarry through the undergrowth that surrounds rivers and lakes. The shorter length aids stalking, especially through denser patches with low or overhanging foliage, and is perfect for close range carp fishing. This shorter length also gives the rod exceptional strength, making it ideal for fishing aggressive and large carp in snaggy waters. The Tribal Stalker has been constructed using HPC100 technology. HPC stands for high pressure carbon and refers to the process of placing the blank under extreme pressure during the curing process. This ensures that the carbon resin is evenly distributed throughout the blank as in normal curing procedure the resins collect on the surface of the rod rather than distributing throughout. This HPC process, combined with the introduction of Biofibre to the blank to add additional structural integrity, means that this blank is exceptionally strong and hardwearing. Indeed, HPC blanks can be up to 40% stronger than blanks made using conventional curing methods. The Tribal Stalker is fitted with Shimano¿s stainless steel Hardlite guides. This means you can use this blank effectively with either a traditional monofilament line or a braided line ¿ giving you the ultimate versatility of choice on the bank. This rod is also fitted with a line clip which ensures that your hook bait is fastened in place whilst you¿re stalking so you don¿t have to worry about your hook and line getting caught up in the surrounding foliage. With a DPS reel seat you can be confident that your reel is staying put, even in the most aggressive hook and hook scenarios. The Tribal Stalker rod offers a 3lb test curve, which is ideal for the vast majority of carp stalking situations.
